Nicosia Dental Polyclinic sponsoring “Things That Go Together” by Michael Anastassiades

In April 2019 Nicosia Dental Polyclinic was one of the sponsors of the publication “Things That Go Together” the first book by Michael Anastassiades.

The book ties in with Michael’s first survey exhibition at the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre

(NiMac). The show displayed carefully curated items from Michaels collections including stones, fossils and small carved figurines. Using the exhibition as a starting point this book treatises Michael’s approach to his works.

Along with images of his work, the book includes a collection of Essays reflecting on Michael’s years in Cyprus and the influence felt through his connections with natural and artistic surroundings throughout Cyprus.

After training as a civil engineer at London’s Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine and a Master’s in industrial design at the Royal College of Art, Michael founded his studio in London in 1994.

His work is featured in permanent collections in museums and galleries around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) in Vienna.
