Born in Nicosia in 1965, son of the founder of the Nicosia Dental Polyclinic Dr George Taramides studied in Germany and received his diploma
from the Albert-Ludwig-University of Freiburg in 1991. He specialized as a periodontist and prosthodontist in Sweden for 3 years and achieved his
Masters degree from the Lund University in Sweden in 1994. He has attended in various implantology workshops and clinical trials in Sweden.
He is the president of the Cyprus Periodontal Society, since 1999 and member of the European Periodontal Association. He loves the piano
and poetry and he is an amateur photographer.

Karen Simopoulou Dental Hygienist RDN EDH
After qualifying as a dental nurse at King's College Hospital London, she held the post of senior dental nurse in the periodontal therapy unit.
She later worked for an industrial company in their dental unit before deciding to train as a dental hygienist. She completed her dental hygiene
training at Guy's Hospital London and then took the post of staff hygienist at the Royal London Hospital, working within the Maxillofacial and
Periodontal Unit. After several years in general practice she emigrated to Cyprus. When her son went to primary school she returned to work in
private practice and has continued to work ever since. Her work in the Preventive Dentistry Unit at the Nicosia Dental Polyclinic enables her to
offer her professional skills to patients with a range of periodontal problems. She has a special interest in treating patients with dental phobia.
She is a registered dental nurse and a member of the British Dental Hygienists Association. She returns to England for continuing professional
development on a regular basis. In her spare time she is an avid reader and enjoys traveling whenever she can.

Dr Efi Theodorou DDS MClinDent PgDip
Dr Efi Theodorou was born in Aradippou in 1985. Following her graduation from the Dental School of Athens, Efi moved to United Kingdom where she worked as a general dental practitioner for 1.5 years.
She then completed 3 years of full-time clinical training in Paediatric Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London, obtaining Masters and Diploma with distinction.
She is an active member of the European Academy and the Cypriot Society of Paediatric Dentistry.
Efi works exclusively with children and adolescents including medically compromised patients.

Dr Adonis Panagidis was born in Larnaca, a town on the southeast coast of Cyprus, in 1982. In September 2002, after completing his army service, he moved to Athens, Greece to study Dentistry. He joined the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and graduated in February 2008, receiving his diploma as Dental Surgeon, with grade "Very Good".
In May 2008 he joined the team of Nicosia Dental Polyclinic and started practicing as General Dentist. Since then, other than keeping busy with providing dental care to the clinic's patients, Dr. Panagidis attends various postgraduate courses and seminars concerning different fields of dentistry.
From May until December 2010 he attended an intensive course on Dental Implantology that took place partly in Berlin, Germany and partly in Athens, Greece receiving the Certificate Curriculum Implantology by the University of Cologne in Germany.
In September 2014 Dr. Panagidis completed an intensive 4-day Clinical Program in Aesthetic Dentistry in Athens, Greece.
In May 2016 he attended a two day hands-on course on "Soft Tissue Management around Natural Teeth and Dental Implants" in Athens, Greece.
Since 2015 he is a member of the ITI (International Team for Implantology), a scientific study group that focuses exclusively on matters regarding Dental Implantology.

Swizerland English and French languages and in 1989 she achieved the HND Diploma in Public Relations in London.
In 1990 she obtained the tourist guide's license from the Cyprus Tourist Organisation. She worked as a tourist guide from
1990-1995.
Today she is the Patient Coordinator for Nicosia Dental Polyclinic and is responsible for patient's care and communications.

Born in London England in 1970. In 1974 he moved to Canada. During his time in Canada he received a BSC in Psychology at York University and Dental
Degree at the State University of New York, Buffalo USA. After completing his degree he started his postgraduate program at Nova University in
Florida specializing in endodontics. After completing the program he returned to Canada and worked for some years there, before returning to
Cyprus in the Nicosia Dental Polyclinic.
