Pedodontics and Orthodontics Department

Dr Renos Taramides graduated from the Dental School of Semmelweis University of Medicine, the oldest medical school in Hungary, in 1999. After his graduation, he practiced as a medical associate in the Pedodontics and Orthodontics Department of the university.

Dr Renos Taramides training concentrated on the specialty of Orthodontics, alongside the President of the Association of Orthodontics of Hungary, Dr. Borbély Péter. He earned his degree in Orthodontics with honours from the Board of the Special Higher Qualification and Postgraduate Training of Medical Specialists of the Ministry of Health of Hungary.

Dr Renos Taramides has practiced Orthodontics in Cyprus since 2005 and joined the Nicosia Dental Polyclinic in February 2016 where he contributes his expertise to the clinic’s team. He continously adds to his knowledge and skills attending orthodontic seminars and conferences in Cyprus and internationally.

He is a member of the European Orthodontic Society and also a member of the Cyprus and Hungarian Orthodontic Societies. He is fluent in Greek, English and Hungarian. When not practicing Orthodontics, Renos enjoys sports, and mainly physical education.
